Kimone James is the Founder and CEO of The Amazing Help, a non-profit organization, and serves as its Board of Directors. She is also the CEO of Biz Start Up LLC that provides small business/non-profit formation, document preparations, career coaching, and notarization to Title and Mortgage companies. Before starting The Amazing Help and Biz Start-Up, she remotely operated a child care and preschool center in her home country Jamaica as the Founder and Executive Director, she also served on its board of directors and was responsible for the bookkeeping and human resource. Kimone studied with Penn Foster and Passaic County Community College. She holds a Real Estate License and works full-time as an Independent Notary Signing Agent and a Small Business Consultant. Along with operating her LLC, she also manages the operations of The Amazing Help as the Executive Director and also serves as a Nurture Heart Trainer, Mental Health First Aider, and Wellness Coach. Additionally, she is pursuing her license for Peer Recovery Specialist, and CADC (Certified Alcohol Drugs Counselor). Kimone is very passionate about Mental Health and serves as an advocate for children with special needs. Her motto is “As one person I cannot change the world, but I can change the world of one person.” (Paul Shane Spear) When she is not working, she enjoys having quiet time with God, reading, meditation, spending time with her husband and five children, watching tv series, and listening to worship music. She is proficient in graphics art, Microsoft Office, technical support, and home & business organizing. Kimone had the opportunity to work with Sandals Resort, Sea Palm Resort, NASWA Resort, Quality Inn Resort, Oceania Resorts, Hackensack Meridian Health, and KW Team Realty. With a 3.79 GPA, Kimone earned a membership in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She is also a member of Paterson Alliance, Bergen Volunteer, Autism Speaks, Jersey Care Volunteer, Score and the National Notary Association. She has volunteered for several other non-profit organizations in the Paterson Community.
