David Brown is the Branch Manager Viking Pest control, bringing a people-first approach to leadership in the pest management industry. He began his career in 2016 as a technician, originally viewing pest control as a stepping stone rather than a long-term destination. Like many early in their careers, David admits he was searching for quick growth and the next opportunity.
That perspective shifted after being challenged early on in the field. Instead of stepping away, David leaned in. He discovered a profession built on problem-solving, customer trust, and protecting public health, values that aligned with his own. With the support of mentors who believed in his potential, David grew through the organization, earning promotions to Service Manager in 2019 and Associate Manager in 2021.
In 2024, David was promoted to Branch Manager, where he now leads daily operations while focusing on developing future leaders within the company. He is a graduate of the National Pest Management Association’s Executive Leadership Program and remains actively involved with the NPMA through committee service and industry collaboration.
Today, David is focused on bringing a more personal touch back to pest control—serving customers with care, investing in his team, and finding meaningful ways to support the local community. He takes pride in working in an industry that makes a real difference and in helping ensure homes and businesses remain safe, healthy, and protected.
What is “Member Monday”?
Bergen County Chamber of Commerce, is excited to announce “Member Monday”! Every Monday we plan to highlight a Bergen County Chamber member by sharing an email blast containing either the member’s professional summary or an article written by the member about a topic within their industry. Every “Member Monday” email blast will contain the featured member’s contact information as well as a link to the member’s website. “Member Monday” provides value to our members by allowing them to highlight themselves in front of the rest of the chamber.
