Daryle Pellegrino
Mortgage Strategist – MLB Residential Lending LLC
Daryle Pellegrino is a mortgage strategist who understands how to structure a deal—not just quote a rate. Before entering the mortgage world, he was a Division III All-American punter. When you’ve got ten guys sprinting at you trying to block a punt, you learn quickly how to handle pressure, stay calm, and deliver when it matters. He originally planned on becoming a history teacher, which is probably why he can explain complicated loan problems in plain English without anyone’s eyes glazing over. And with seven kids, pressure, chaos, and multitasking don’t scare him.
For nearly three decades, realtors, clients, and even other loan officers have reached out to him when a file looks dead, complicated, or headed for disaster. He’s the guy who gets into the mess, finds the problem nobody else saw, and turns it into a closing.
He works with all types of borrowers: first-time buyers who need guidance, self-employed clients with tax returns that read like a mystery novel, and families who feel stuck because their credit is holding them back and no one has shown them a real plan to move forward. He doesn’t judge anyone. He sits down, looks at the full picture, and shows people exactly how to move forward. Sometimes that means breaking the deal apart, fixing what’s sloppy, and showing the client the real way to make it work. Whatever it takes, he gets them ready for approval.
Inside the industry, people know him as the deal architect. He’s the LO who actually reads the guidelines, understands how DU and LPA make decisions, knows how credit scoring models react to borrower behavior, and isn’t afraid to work in the gray areas most loan officers avoid. Realtors come to him to save their transactions, and LOs lean on him when they have no idea why a file keeps blowing up.
Beyond the mortgage side, he coaches buyers, realtors, and loan officers on how to think differently. He takes complicated situations and explains them in plain English, teaches smarter ways to structure deals, and helps people use technology without getting overwhelmed. His approach is simple: give people clarity, cut the nonsense, and make the process better than anything they’ve experienced before.
Whether he’s guiding someone out of credit trouble or helping a loan officer sharpen their craft, his focus is the same: turn challenges into closings and growth, with straight talk, real communication, and decades of real-world experience.
