Gada Elkenani has more than 30 years of experience in commercial banking for middle market and institutional clients. Ms. Elkenani was most recently served in executives’ roles for a few very reputable institutions as Senior Managing Director/Team Leader of the Middle Market Group with a focus on growing commercial & industrial portfolio. She has been successful in creating new vertical areas of opportunity for the lenders for whom she has worked including the creation of a specialty commercial lending portfolio of over $1.0 billion in assets for Commerce Bank (now TD Bank). Gada has also worked on multiple restructuring financings. In 2017 Ms. Elkenani launched her own consulting company Xeper Strategic Partners LLC, that serves boutique banks, ultra-high-net worth and high net worth clients with a deep reach in capital markets with a focus of structuring senior debt.
Ms. Elkenani began her banking career at Fleet Bank (now Bank of America) and eventually rose to assume on the lead role of Project Manager to automate the delivery of banking services across the firm’s entire platform. Gada subsequently led similar efforts at a series of regional lenders in a consulting capacity. Ms. Elkenani has also been recognized for her ability to grow market share, create brand awareness, turn around non-performing banking locations, and build profitable commercial loan portfolios.
Gada has received many awards including “Women of the Year” for the National Association of Professional Women for 2011. She has also been recognized with top producer awards from both Fleet Bank and Commerce Bank. Gada attended undergraduate programs at the American University in Cairo and SUNY Albany. She also severed on many Boards and is currently part of the Board of Directors of the YW-NYC.
